Current
Training Seminar (Spring 2009): PDEs Analysis and Radar
Imaging (Fridays, 1pm-3pm, MAGC 1.302)
This seminar is to mentor
the graduate students participating in my DoD research project on PDE Analysis and Radar Image
Reconstruction to enhance achievement level
and retention rate here at UTPA. The program students are anticipated
to apply mathematical and engeneering methodology to deal with radar
imaging problems appearing in military, air force and naval
affairs. The text book used for the seminar is: Synthetic Aperture
Radar Signal Processing with MATLAB Algorithms by Mehrdad Soumekh.
Previous
Training Seminar (Fall 2008): PDEs Theory (Fridays, 2pm-4pm, MAGC 1.302)
In this seminar, I
deliver PDEs lectures to my DoD program students and direct them to do
preliminary work for my DoD research project on Radar Image Reconstruction. The text book used for the
seminar is: Partial Differential Equations
by David Colton.
