The 17th Annual Meeting of the South Texas Mathematics Consortium will be held at the University of Texas-Pan American, in Edinburg, Texas, on Saturday, February 21, 2009. The STMC is a professional meeting serving mathematical interests of colleges and universities in South Texas and northern Mexico.

Keynote speaker for the Luncheon Session is  Dr. Cassandra Moore-McZeal from ExxonMobile Upstream Research, Optimization Technology Group.

 

Information about Registration Fees and Parking  


  • Registration fee includes a continental breakfast and a Keynote Address Luncheon

  • Pre-registration fee ($15 for students, $25 for all others, including presenters) must be submitted by January 31, 2009 (use the on-line STMC Registration Form)

  •  Pre-registration fee must be paid by credit card, check, cashier's check, or money order

  • Last day to honor a reimbursement will be January 31, 2009 (contact Olga Ramirez)

  • On-site registration fee or late registration fee after January 31, 2009, is $25 for students, $35 for all others, including presenters

  • On-site registration fee must be paid by credit card (including late arrivals)

  • STMC does not reimburse for mileage nor for room and board

  • Suggested parking on campus will be in Lots E, H, and R  on Van Week Street (refer to map on website)
